Mort prides himself on his determination, attention to detail, and relentless effort to drive his client's interest to a successful conclusion.
Mort was introduced to the Real Estate profession when his mother became a licensed agent in 1985. Mort subsequently grew up in the profession and attended a Help-U-Sell University in the early 2000s. Mort's brother owned a Real Estate company in CA that was associated with Help-U-Sell Real Estate. Mort bought his first investment property in 2012 and a second in 2014. Mort decided to become a licensed Realtor in in late 2018.
Mort grew up outside of Washington D.C. and came to Williamsport in 1989 to attend Lycoming College. Mort fell in love with Williamsport almost immediately and remained after completing his bachelor's degree. Leaving briefly to obtain a graduate degree in Education before returning to the area. Mort later met his wife with whom he has a now 10-year-old son.
Mort transitioned to Real Estate after 26 years in Human Services. During his career in Human Services the programs Mort operated were twice recognized by the State Dept. of Education as Distinguished Institutions. Mort was also nominated for Person of the Year by the Williamsport Sun Gazette in 2015 for his role in rescuing two teenagers after they fell through the ice on the Susquehanna River.
